No video. Ever.

Learn AI/ML by touching the algorithm, not watching a slideshow.

epochai replaces lecture videos with real interactive widgets and real code execution. You run actual Python and SQL, get graded server-side, and see it click — from your first lesson to autonomous agents.

Every answer is graded server-side. No exposed answer keys, no fake progress.

The core loop

Every lesson runs the same five moves.

No lesson ends until you've actually done something with the concept — not just read about it. This sequence repeats for all 49 lessons in the free tier, and every module after it.

01 / Explain

Read the idea

Short prose and syntax-highlighted code — the minimum you need before touching anything.

02 / Visualize

Move the algorithm

Step through a live DOM/SVG widget yourself — drag, click, and watch state change in real time.

03 / Predict

Commit to an answer

Submit a value or choice before you're told the outcome. Graded server-side — no peeking at the key.

04 / Recap

Lock it in

A short reinforcement pass ties the widget back to the concept you just proved you understood.

05 / Complete

Bank the XP

Lesson state flips to passed, XP posts to your account, and the next lesson unlocks.

Interactive widgets

Widgets you don't just read — you run.

Every widget runs in two modes: Watch (it plays itself, step by step) or Explore (you drive it, forward and back) — always with the real source code visible alongside the animation, synced line-by-line, never standing in for it. All built on the same dark, high-contrast canvas — flat, no gimmicks, nothing to distract from the data.

Variable state

Watch a variable's value and type change in memory as each line of real code executes.

WatchExplore
What is a variable? →

Branch flow

Step through if / elif / else and see exactly which branch actually runs, and why.

WatchExplore
If/else branching explained →

Loop stepper

Track every loop variable through each iteration next to a live simulated terminal.

WatchExplore
How do loops work? →

Function call flow

See a call frame open, parameters bind, and a return value flow back to the caller.

WatchExplore
What is a call stack? →

Collection operations

Lists, tuples, sets, and dicts update live, in sync with the exact method call that changed them.

WatchExplore

Debugging & error flow

Trace an exception back up the call stack, one real frame at a time.

WatchExplore

Program flow

The full-source engine behind every module capstone — a real editor panel, execution-line highlight, and a live trace through your program end to end.

WatchExplore

DSA & math library

Sorting, searching, heaps, trees, graphs, vectors, and more — rolling out module by module.

Free vs Pro

49 free lessons prove it works. Pro is where the career path lives.

Free is deep enough to know whether this clicks for you — full XP system, both sandboxes, the whole widget library. Pro unlocks the eight modules that take you from "I can code" to "I can ship AI systems."

Finish a module, get a certificate anyone can verify.

Every certificate resolves to a public verification page — no login required. Share it on LinkedIn, and it holds up.

  • Earned, not handed out100% of a module's lessons must reach passed state before a certificate can be claimed.
  • Publicly verifiableEvery certificate gets a unique code anyone can check at epochai.in/verify — no account needed.
  • One per module, free or ProCertificates aren't a Pro perk — they're proof of what you actually finished.
Questions

Before you start

Is there actually zero video?

Correct — every concept in the core curriculum is taught through text, code, and the interactive widgets. If a lesson has a motion element, it's a short auto-playing animation you can pause and inspect, not a lecture you sit through.

What actually happens when I "run code"?

Your Python or SQL runs in an isolated sandbox on our servers — real interpreter, real output, a hard timeout, and no network access. Grading compares your result against hidden test cases; the expected answers never touch your device.

What does Pro actually unlock?

On Free, finishing a lesson unlocks the next one — no XP threshold, no paywall on day one, just sequential progress through Modules 1–4. Pro doesn't change that pacing; it adds eight more modules (SQL & Data Engineering through MLOps & LLMOps) on top of it, plus priority sandbox execution and priority support. XP itself is separate from unlocking either way — it just drives your leaderboard rank, level, and achievement badges.

Can I cancel Pro?

Yes, anytime, through Google Play. You keep Pro access through the end of your current billing period, then drop back to Free — your XP, streaks, and certificates all stay intact.

What happens to Pro when new modules launch?

They're included. Pro isn't a snapshot of today's content — Classical ML, Deep Learning, LLMs, Agents, and MLOps all roll into your existing subscription as they ship.
